Appearance
A medium-sized cat with large, irregular cloud-like blotches, short sturdy legs and a remarkably long tail used for balance.

A capable climber that also travels and hunts on the ground. Much of its wild behaviour remains difficult to observe.

Primarily tropical and subtropical forest, including evergreen and secondary forest.

Occurs from the Himalayan foothills through mainland Southeast Asia into southern China.
